Betty's body panels flow rather than fold — the metal moving like it remembers being clay. The round fenders become haunches. The hood splits and elongates into a feline head. The round headlights become enormous amber cat eyes. The chrome bumper curves into a jaw. The tail section flows into a long mechanical tail. The painted sunflowers travel across the forming panels — they don't disappear, they BECOME the jaguar's spot patterns. The VW roundel ends up on the jaguar's forehead like a bindi.
