Vol.co

An editorial, gallery-quiet e-commerce surface for a fine-art / typographic book publisher (Thames & Hudson's Volume). The system is near-monochrome — white canvas, near-black ink, mid-gray CTAs — with sharp 0px corners on every interactive surface and full-bleed image cards that carry all the color. Type is set in the light-weight Messina Sans grotesque at large sizes with negative tracking, giving a museum-catalog calm. Voltage comes entirely from the photography inside cards and from small pill-shaped status badges (black, red, orange) overlaid on those images.
